What we do
Elof Hansson is owned by Elof Hansson Foundation. The Foundation gives support to academic education and research. The main focus is on trade and business activities such as marketing, international trade, accounting, commercial law and business languages.
The Foundation is supervised by the County Administrative Board of Västra Götaland, Göteborg/Gothenburg, Sweden.
Origin of the Foundation
Elof Hansson Foundation was created in 1985. In that year, Bo-Elof Hansson donated a number of Elof Hansson AB shares to the Foundation. Today the Foundation is the sole owner of Elof Hansson.
Funding
Elof Hansson Foundation distributes grants to institutions such as:
- Chalmers University of Technology, Supply and Operations Management
- University of Gothenburg, School of Business, Economics and Law
- Swedish Chamber of Commerce, London
- Swedish Chamber of Commerce, New York
- INSEAD
- London Business School
- Act Church of Sweden
The Foundation does not award grants to individuals.
