Elof Hansson Compliance program
Our Compliance Program has been set up to support and guide sustainable business practices.
The work is led by the Group Compliance and Legal Counsel that reports directly to the VP Finance & Risk. The Compliance Program encompasses the key compliance principles of Elof Hansson’s Code of Conduct, more precisely, the principles on; anti-corruption, trade compliance and sanctions, human rights and labor, competition law, and whistleblowing and internal investigations.
Elof Hansson Group’s business and Compliance Program is based on a set of principles and standards such as legislation in relation to inter alia corruption, sanctions, anti-money laundering, terrorist financing, human rights and environment as well as international standards for responsible business.
Being a global company today requires an awareness of the responsibility that comes with it.
The program consists of these eight areas:
- Management commitment
- Regulations, sanctions, laws, and requirements
- Policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct
- Training, education, and effective communication
- Risk assessment
- Reporting, testing, and program evaluation
- Corrective actions
- Prevention of violations
