Elof Hansson Holding buys companies in Austria and Germany
Elof Hansson Holding AB, Gothenburg, Sweden, has acquired all shares in PTI Paper Testing Instruments GmbH Austria and its German subsidiary Frank-PTI.
PTI’s activities include production and sales of a broad program of laboratory equipment and instruments for quality control of pulp, paper, board and tissue.
Manufacturing, development and global sales of PTI’s products are based in Vorchdorf, Austria, while sales in Germany and Switzerland are conducted by PTI’s German office in Birkenau.
Elof Hansson International conducts global trade in machinery and components including laboratory equipment for the pulp and paper industry. The company is a part of Elof Hansson Holding AB’s business area Industry. The acquisition of PTI will enable Elof Hansson International to considerably increase its share on the world market for pulp and paper quality control products.
